PROBLEM:
A Canadian packaging company noted a slowdown in speed when unloading wooden chips from silos.
SITUATION:
The client needed to unload the wooden chips from a storage container onto a worm conveyor. During the winter, the chips would stick together because of the moist and extremely low temperatures. Therefore, two workers were needed to restore the flow of chips with the use of shovels.
SOLUTION:
Visam Vibratory supplied the company with two vibrator motors which were placed in two distinct positions. This facilitated the flow of the wooden chips with moderate power consumption.
